Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween from my little ninja!

Five-Year Post-Op Post!
Five years ago today, I watched my little boy be wheeled into open-heart surgery. As a mom, there are moments that change you forever. Watching your child undergo a life-saving operation at just four years old was one of them. The fear was overwhelming, but so was the hope. Today, I look at this incredible kid - strong, healthy, fearless, and full of life - and I'm reminded every single day of the miracle he is. Cameron, you have overcome more before kindergarten than many pe

Ocean City Air Show
What a day. We opted for Wallops Island Flight Facility over Ocean City and had a blast.

Last Day of 3rd Grade!
Cameron Got Awards for Principal's Roll and Attendance!

Virginia Beach Jiu Jitsu Competition
This boy did amazing! We headed down to Virginia Beach for the Grappling Industries Jiu Jitsu Tournament. Cameron competed in gi and no-gi for his belt and weight and went undefeated in all eight of his matches! There was an absolute dogfight at the end of his gi round, when he had to go up against his strongest opponent for first place. We are so proud of everyone who showed up from 410 Academy of Martial Arts. Thank you to Coaches Jack and Max. Thank you, Brittany, Anisa,

Race for Education 2026
Little dude ran 14 laps today and got to put a pie in the principals face!

In Memory of Pop
We wanted to share an update to celebrate the life of Cameron's grandfather, who passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, at 73 years old. Born in January 1953, he graduated from the University of Maryland and devoted more than 30 years to a career in food safety. He was a lifelong artist with a deep love for the natural world. As a teenager, he began carving his own duck decoys for use on the Chesapeake Bay, spending countless hours observin

Rare Pokemon Pull!
We stopped by Poke Dealz tonight to talk to Daniel and Freddy. Cameron was interested in an all red error print victini card in the case. He was bummed when he found out it was going over $400. He bought a booster pack with 6 individual packs in hope of pulling something cool and would you know it - He got his super rare error card!

Leprechaun Shenanigans
ALMOST got that sneaky leprechaun!

Walk For Peace
This weekend Cam and I ventured to VA to see the monks who are walking for the Walk for Peace. We met some amazing women who let Cam give out their fruit offerings. Walked to the chuch to watch their lunch speech where Cameron got pulled to the front of the group by some college boys who wanted to make sure “little bro could see”. He was also lucky enough to be given prayer bracelets from three of the monks. It was chilly but worth it.

Merry Christmas
Wishing you happy holidays from my family to yours. This season is bittersweet because it will be my dad's, Cameron's Pop Pop, last Christmas. We aimed to cherish the holiday and create as many memories as possible.
