What a day on the water!

We had an absolute blast attending the Skipjack Races aboard Captain Art’s boat, The Helen Virginia, and even better—we brought home a 5th-place finish!

A huge thank you to Art and April for letting Cam, Rae, and me come along and sail with you guys for the races. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to be out on the water, surrounded by good people, beautiful boats, and a whole lot of fun!

And a special thank you to Josh for letting Cam get in on the action. That boy was itching to pull on some lines and be part of the crew! He was absolutely in his element.

There’s just something special about getting out on the water, feeling the wind, watching these beautiful skipjacks work their way through the race, and sharing the experience with people who love it just as much.

5th place, a beautiful day, and memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. Not a bad day at all!
