WHAT A DAY AT THE LINC!!

We drove to Wilmington Friday night so we only had a quick drive into Philly and to the Linc to meet up with all of our friends at the C6 Tailgate. Cam passed out some Christmas gifts for some of the guys and then had some favors we printed to give out along the way.

It was a FRIGID morning and we were blessed to be able to warm up while still having fun. Saquon Barkley’s family was on site selling 2KSA gear and we were able to sing our Saquon chant for them (and maybe Saquon).

While at the tailgate we ran into Mr Eric who was the one who facilitated us having the best game day experience! He broke the news to Cam that it wasn’t just a tailgate - we had tickets to go inside and he had passes to go onto the field. Cam couldn’t believe it and was super excited. We laughed and danced and hung out with all of our friends. The Philadelphia Eagles dry line came through and did a set before we set off to go inside.

After and awesome tailgate, we headed into the stadium to grab our field passes and wait for entry. The process was super easy and we handed out fine more of our favors along the way to game day revelers and staff. One of the fan appreciation staffers found us and gave Cam a bag of Eagles goodies with signed Dallas Goedert photo in it! Once the gates opened we headed to the field and were lucky enough to grab a spot right in front and sit down (there were other kids there and I wanted to at least make sure they could see over me). We brought our sign from the Commanders game with a modified title saying it was Cams first home game and we waited. We handed out pins to some of the field staff and watched as the Philadelphia Eagles players warmed up. While watching Mr. Eric came over and introduced us to Mr. Don Smolenski. Mr. Don is the president of the Eagles and he was the one who got us field passes. He spoke with cam and then when we went to take a photo with him - he peeled cams fingers out of his glove and slipped on his SUPER BOWL RING! What a crazy incredible experience. Cam was able to meet and get autographs from Slay, AJ Brown and Big Dom. The field communicator came over and let cam try on his headset and after we talked me found out his daughter is a nurse at Children’s Hospital! One of the trainers came over and gave him one of the athletic towels and then Ron Torbert came over and gave him his ref coin he uses for tosses. We also met Me Chris who works for the eagles and was the one who gave us his season tickets!

The whole experience on field was just over an hour and was absolutely a once in a lifetime experience for Cam. We headed up to our seats and were joined by Aunt Rae and her cousin Connor (who is visiting from England and thought that the view must have been what it was like to watch gladiators in the coliseum). We had an amazing time even though it was in the low 30s and we were happy to walk away with a W!

Life is good. We are so lucky and blessed!

And oh yeah GO BIRDS!
