Here we go!

We just got to our hotel in Washington, D.C. I explained to Cameron about his surgery yesterday. He took it very well. Our amazing therapist gave me lots of pointers. Mainly whatever I’m feeling he will feel. So if I’m upset, he’d be upset. If I’m mad, he’d be mad. I tried my best to be as calm as I could.

He’s so smart and I’m so blessed to be raising such an amazing boy.

Cameron opened a gift from his friends Elle and Emme and got busy coloring the masks that were sent. He tried his best to stay in the lines “but it he’s because its not paper”

We also tried on our Dino onesie, slippers and blanket from friends Jesse, Jessica and Kenzo!

We have a full morning of pre-op testing tomorrow. We’re ready to get this ball rolling and get onto the road to recovery!
