Birthday Game!

Rich because I get to live this life with you!

Ever since Cameron’s open-heart surgery, I decided to do things a little differently. He doesn’t get gifts from me. That's reserved for everyone else in his life to give him; from me, he gets experiences that will hopefully be core memories.

For his birthday, one of his gifts this year was tickets to Philadelphia to watch the Eagles play the Giants.

We headed to our usual tailgate in lot N8 with the Hungry Dawgs, where Sean Holden surprised him with cake pops with his face on them, made by Maryellen’s.

We met up with Stephanie Hastings, who would be our buddy for the day. It was her first-ever game, and we were excited to show her the ropes and all of the fun stuff at the Linc that we like to do.

We got to see Karl and Lindsy, the Philly Slashers, who travel from North Carolina to the games, and we haven’t seen them since last year.

We ran into Mr. Reshown by chance in the parking lot—he is our fan appreciation Buddy. He ended up coming to our seats in the fourth quarter to give Cameron a goodie bag from the Eagles.

We even ended up on the Jumbotron with our open-heart sign - which sent the crowd into a roar. And to top it all off, our section - section 205 ended up singing " Happy Birthday " to Cameron when they realized his birthday was the day before.

The Eagles won, and all in all, it was a 10 out of 10 day.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make Cameron’s birthday weekend so amazing. Love you all!
